Albuquerque Roadshow Feb 26th

The PE Alliance has now completed four Total Solutions Roadshows in Albuquerque, thanks to SECOR’s Jim Whitaker for once again welcoming us back to the Duke City—ABQ. Thirty-five engineers, contractors, and utility professionals participated in sessions covering HDPE 101, HDPE 301, and HDPE Installation Best Practices.

Our team also conducted live demonstrations on butt fusion, electrofusion, squeeze-off procedures, bead trimming, service connections, and spool-piece repair—hands-on training that helps crews apply HDPE solutions with confidence in the field.

Local municipal utilities in the Albuquerque area have been using HDPE pipe successfully for years with excellent results. During our visit, a 20-inch PVC main failure caused flooding and road damage, underscoring the real-world performance differences between PVC and HDPE systems and reinforcing the importance of selecting resilient pipe materials for critical infrastructure. #fuseitorloseit
