Webinar #4 HDPE Electrofusion

The PE Alliance hosted its fourth webinar of the year this week, focused exclusively on HDPE electrofusion, with generous sponsorship from Core & Main. More than 650 professionals registered, making it one of our strongest webinar turnouts to date. This was the first time the Alliance dedicated an entire session to electrofusion; an important fusion method widely used in HDPE piping systems.

Alliance engineer Dan Landy developed the presentation with valuable support from experts across the industry. Special thanks to contributors from Core & Main, GF Piping Systems, Integrity Fusion, and Nupi, including Stephen Boros, Bill Breckenridge, Richard Eoff, Aaron Davey, Robert Adamsand Benjamin Rigsbee.

Topics covered included the electrofusion process, fusing dissimilar materials, PE resin chemistry, contamination control, testing protocols, pipe preparation, training requirements and real-world electrofusion case studies. Thanks to all who helped make this an outstanding technical program for the HDPE community.
