July 17th Charlottesville Roadshow
ISCO Industries and the PE Alliance teamed up for an HDPE Total Solutions Roadshow in Charlottesville Virginia this week and saw great interaction and enthusiasm for HDPE use in the Commonwealth. The University of Virginia is all in with HDPE for use in their chilled water program and Rapidan Sewer Authority is now using HDPE pipe for their collection system. Dan Landy, PE Alliance engineer, got back into the swing of teaching his popular HDPE 301 class to the engineers. This is the only roadshow the Alliance team is conducting this summer, yet the trade show circuit is active with AWWA, APWA and ASCE UESI.
Given there were field crews in attendance, a fair amount of time was spent on tapping, connections, fusion and the DataLogger® process. If you know of a utility that could benefit with some customized HDPE education, contact Dan Landy at dlandy@pepipe.org
