PE Showcase ’24

PE Showcase ‘24 in Phoenix set a new standard for the PE Alliance, drawing record attendance and unparalleled engagement. This milestone event brought together a diverse group of professionals, all driven by a shared passion for advancing the HDPE industry. It was a true testament to the power of collaboration, education and innovation in the HDPE pipe industry.

Attendees were treated to a packed agenda featuring classes and discussions led by over 30 industry leaders. Some of the week’s biggest hits included the engaging Major Pipe Types Roundtable, where experts debated advancements and applications across various pipe technologies and the insightful What Is Big Pipe Today presentation, which offered a glimpse into the cutting-edge projects shaping the future of HDPE.

A highlight during the plenary lunch featured Stephen Boros of Pipeline Plastics briefing everyone on the science and facts behind our 100-year design life claim. Following Stephen were remarks from ISCO’s CEO Jimmy Kirchdorfer on working in the HDPE pipe industry, the genesis of the PE Alliance and the positive impact the Alliance has made.

The event also celebrated key milestones and achievements. Congratulations to this year’s Certified Professional graduates, who have demonstrated expertise and commitment to excellence. We also honored the winners of the Municipal Leadership Award, whose outstanding work highlights the transformative potential of HDPE in infrastructure and community development. Additionally, we celebrated the Lifetime Achievement Award presented to Richard Kolasa, whose contributions have been instrumental in shaping the industry. Significant Contributor awards were also presented to Bob Haack and Juan Quintero for their dedication and impact on the municipal market. 

What truly set PE Showcase ‘24 apart was its unique environment of trust and collaboration. Though attendees came from competing organizations, the event cultivated an atmosphere of mutual respect and shared purpose. This environment encouraged knowledge sharing collective problem-solving and reinforced the industry’s dedication to unified growth.
