Peter Dyke

Executive Director, Alliance for PE Pipe

Peter Dyke serves as the Executive Director of the Alliance for PE Pipe, where he leads efforts to grow the municipal HDPE pipe market across the U.S. and Canada. Under his leadership, the Alliance has expanded to more than 150 members who actively support its mission to share the compelling story of HDPE and its benefits for utilities and communities.
What Peter enjoys most about his work is knowing that each day contributes to building a more water-efficient and effective society. With HDPE’s leak-free profile, utilities that adopt the product see measurable benefits, and Peter is driven by the mission of educating decision makers so they can make informed, lasting infrastructure choices.
Since joining the Alliance, Peter has been proud to help build the organization into what it is today. On a broad scale, the Alliance’s engineering team now responds to more than 1,000 inquiries annually from owners, designers and contractors, contributing over $120 million worth of projects each year. On a personal scale, Peter values the “one person, one project at a time” approach through impactful programs such as webinars, trade shows, roadshows and seminars.
Outside of work Peter is a lifelong dog lover. While he has always enjoyed big dogs, he fell in love with Jack Russell Terriers several years ago. Living in Virginia, he appreciates how his Jack Russell keeps him safe from the local snakes while also keeping him company outdoors.

Dan Landy

Director of Engineering Services, Alliance for PE Pipe

As Director of Engineering Services for the Alliance for PE Pipe, Dan Landy oversees the engineering team and ensures cases and leads are addressed in a timely manner. He plays a key role in the sustainable growth of the Alliance’s Engineering Program by establishing and maintaining relationships with specifying engineers, utilities and member distributors. Dan identifies and schedules educational seminars, speaks at local, state and national conferences, and serves as a thought leader in the HDPE space. His role also includes providing technical guidance, allocating resources, improving processes and maintaining high standards for engineering deliverables and member solutions. A consistent public speaker and traveler, Dan also manages the Alliance’s AI chatbot to ensure it is equipped with the right technical data.

What Dan enjoys most about his work is the diversity of markets where HDPE is applied. With nine major markets—each with its own installation methods and applications—he finds it rewarding to apply lessons from mature markets to those that are still growing. This constant learning and adaptation is one of his favorite aspects of working with HDPE and the Alliance.

Since joining the Alliance, Dan has been proud to establish a trusted engineering resource where specifiers, contractors and owners can bring their most challenging questions and receive timely, detailed guidance.

Outside of work Dan enjoys traveling, listening to country music, exploring national parks, golfing new courses, watching Pitt Panthers games with his dad and, of course, anything his mom bakes.
