Training Program Overview & Results
Alliance Programs
The PE Alliance delivers its education and outreach through four primary programs: webinars, trade shows, roadshows and seminars. Together, these programs provide multiple ways to reach engineers, utilities, contractors, distributors and other industry professionals with practical information about HDPE pipe. Webinars provide broad national reach, trade shows connect the Alliance with key industry audiences, roadshows bring hands-on education directly to local markets and seminars offer focused technical training. These four programs form the foundation of the Alliance’s efforts to educate the industry and increase the understanding and adoption of HDPE piping systems.
Supporting these core activities is a broad group of programs designed to extend the Alliance’s impact. These include the Award Program, Cases/Leads, Certified Professional Program, Contact File, Engineering Services, PE Showcase, Poly Podcast, Specification Conversions, Use Cases, Social Media, Videos and the new New Hire Training Program. Together, these programs create an integrated education, technical support and industry outreach platform.
Results
The Alliance’s Pipe, Fitting and Equipment (PFE) lead program demonstrates the significant financial impact of our work in developing and supporting HDPE projects. In 2026, the Alliance worked on 269 PFE opportunities, with 84 projects representing $121 million already in the ground. Another 210 probable projects represent approximately $303 million in potential project value, while the total value of open PFE opportunities has grown to an impressive $530 million, up from $342 million in 2024 and $472 million in 2025. These numbers demonstrate that Alliance activities extend well beyond education and awareness; our programs help identify opportunities, provide technical and engineering support and move real projects toward construction. Collectively, the PFE program represents hundreds of millions of dollars in HDPE pipe, fittings, equipment and related construction opportunities being actively supported by the Alliance.
